What is a fine art print?
Our Fine Art Print is a high-quality art print where photography, printing process and paper are perfectly coordinated.
Our works are produced as archival pigment prints on Arches BFK Rives 310 g/m² – an acid-free fine art paper made from 100% cotton.
The matte, finely textured surface gives the images depth and a special feel.
All our prints are produced in Germany.
What is the difference between a fine art print and a poster?
Above all, material, printing process, limitation, and durability.
Posters are usually produced in larger print runs.

Are your fine art prints archival quality?
Our fine art prints are produced using high-quality pigment inks on acid-free cotton paper.
This combination is designed for particularly long-lasting playback.

As with any work of art, the actual durability also depends on light, humidity, temperature and framing.
Direct sunlight is therefore not a good idea.
What type of paper are the fine art prints printed on?
We print on Arches BFK Rives 310 g/m², a high-quality, acid-free paper.
Fine art paper made from 100% cotton.
The matte, slightly textured surface is a deliberate part of the work and gives colors, surfaces and fine details a special depth.
What does "limited edition" mean?
Each work is only released in a fixed number of copies.
Collector's Editions
40 × 40 cm
Limited to 50 copies per design.
Signature Editions
Selected larger formats.
Limited to a total of 15 copies per motif across all offered signature formats.
Each print is numbered and hand-signed by Florian Seidel.
If an edition sells out, it will not be produced again in that edition.
What does "limited across formats" mean?
With our Signature Editions, the limitation refers to the artwork itself and not to the physical item.

Each fine art print is part of an artist-authorized and limited edition.

All works in the Studio Seidel Shop are by Florian Seidel.

What kind of frame is suitable for a fine art print?
That depends on the artwork, the space, and how prominent the image is intended to be.
A black, minimalist frame gives the work a clear boundary and works equally well in private spaces as well as in offices, practices, hotels or law firms.
A floating frame emphasizes the paper and the materiality of the print more strongly.
And sometimes a picture doesn't need a frame at all.
Are the fine art prints available in different sizes?
Yes.
Different formats are available depending on the work.
Our Collector's Editions come in a 40 × 40 cm format.
Our Signature Editions are available in selected larger formats.
You can find out which sizes are available for a particular item directly on the respective product page.
Larger formats and special projects are available upon request.
Are the fine art prints also suitable for offices, hotels, medical practices or interior design projects?
Yes.
We also work with interior designers, architects, companies, hotels, medical practices and other commercial clients.
From a single work to series, groups of images or individual solutions for larger spaces, many things are possible.
We offer individual consultations for larger projects.
Do you also offer custom-made products or other materials?
Our regular editions are deliberately produced on fine art paper.
Individual solutions can also be developed for interior design, architectural or corporate projects – for example, special formats, large-scale wall designs or implementations on other materials.
Not everything has to be printed.
Where do you deliver to?
We are currently delivering orders from our online shop directly within Germany.
Deliveries to other EU countries and internationally are possible upon request. Simply write to us – we will check shipping options and conditions individually.
How will my fine art print be packaged and shipped?
Each piece is carefully and securely packaged to ensure it arrives at your door in the same condition as when it left our studio.
The specific packaging depends on the format and design of the ordered item.
What should I do if my package arrives damaged?
Please take photos of the packaging and the damaged item and inform us as soon as possible by email.
We will then work with you to take care of the next steps.
